The professional objective of this job is to lead the development of the MAX project’s charging UI/UX, acting as the function owner responsible for defining the system architecture and signal flow for Max 1.0 and 2.0 charging features. The role also includes establishing and evaluating cyber security requirements for both in-car and off-car charging features specific to China, as well as supporting the implementation of charging test cases on the golden device.
Specific Knowledge
? In-depth understanding of vehicle charging systems, including extensive knowledge of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and charging platforms (eMSP).
? Proven experience in function design for interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) tailored to vehicle charging applications.
? Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements pertinent to digital vehicle functions.
? Strong knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards to ensure compliance with industry and Mercedes-Benz quality processes for suppliers.
? Proficient coding skills, enabling the reading and interpretation of signals within the charging backend, with the ability to perform basic code modifications.
? Hands-on experience with testing devices and the capability to develop code for defining and executing test cases.
? Expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies to improve the usability and functionality of charging interfaces.
? Comprehensive understanding of the operation and functionality of charging service platforms, supporting the enhancement of digital charging services.
? Strong project management abilities, including planning and organizational skills.
? Native proficiency in Chinese, with fluent English language skills; German language proficiency is an advantage.
? Demonstrated intercultural competence and effective communication skills across various organizational levels.
? Possession of a valid driving license.
