Task description:
? Conduct Functional Safety (FuSa) engineering for ADAS/AD and or Infotainment on component level according to ISO 26262
o Conduct FuSa Engineering according to ISO 26262 and MB guideline and project RASCI
o Derivate and maintain component TSC and HW/SW safety concept for successful review/assessment
o Perform and maintain necessary and sufficient safety analysis at system and HW/SW level for successful review/assessment
o Review internal or supplier SW/HW safety design and verification
o Support HW/SW team to reach end-to-end functional safety compliance
? Conduct Functional Safety (FuSa) management with process conformity
o Ensure FuSa Millstones in project with necessary FuSa activities and working products according to safety plan
o Align with relevant interfaces, if engineering content is necessary for specific alignment
o Supplier safety management
o Conduct safety audit, assessment, confirmation review according to MB standard
o Derivate and maintain the safety case and ensure safety release
? Support component development with concept
o Contribute with FuSa expertise during concept design
o Concept evaluation from FuSa -Perspective
? Education
o Bachelor in automotive engineering, electrical engineering or a related field
? Experience
o more than 5 years system/component functional safety engineering experience according to ISO 26262
o more than 5 years HW or SW functional safety engineering experience according to ISO 26262
o Experience on FuSa management of E/E systems according to ISO 26262
o Industrial experience in automotive industry – OEM(in-house development) or supplier
o Ideally: development experience/ Internship of ADAS/AD and or Infotainment component
? Specific Knowledge
o Reliable language skills with English or German
o Knowledge about FuSa Engineering(component system), FuSa Management up to ASIL D according to ISO 26262
o Knowledge about FuSa Engineering at HW or SW level
o Fundamental knowledge about quality management, product development process in automobile industry
