Key
Responsibilities
1.
Strategy & Program Development
· Develop, implement, and
communicate rewards policies, processes, and programs for the China market,
ensuring alignment with global strategy and local regulatory compliance.
· Embed Coherent’s global rewards
philosophy and processes into China operations, fostering a consistent employee
experience while adapting to local market dynamics.
· Collaborate with senior
leadership, regional HR teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and
launch compensation, bonuses, and equity programs that reflect organizational
values and strategic goals.
2.
Data Analysis & Optimization
· Analyze internal pay practices,
benefits offerings, and industry trends; recommend data-driven adjustments to
enhance competitiveness in talent attraction and retention.
· Leverage data analysis tools to
identify optimization opportunities, measure program effectiveness, and propose
practical, cost-effective solutions.
· Conduct market data research,
survey submissions, and statistical analysis to support rewards strategy
refinement.
3.
Process Management & Operations
· Oversee the annual compensation
review process, including system administration, budget analysis, data
analytics, and consulting and training support via the global platform.
· Manage job design/analysis,
documentation, evaluation, and other daily compensation-related activities and
operations.
· Partner with HRBPs throughout the
annual merit review, promotion, equity grant and retention cycles.
4.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
· Communicate with employees across
China on compensation and benefits matters to ensure transparency and
understanding.
· Collaborate on
compensation-related initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
Education
& Experience
·
Bachelor’s degree or above in
Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields; an
advanced degree is a plus.
·
8+ years of total rewards
experience in multinational companies, with 3+ years in a managerial role and a
focus on the China market.
·
Deep expertise in China’s
compensation, benefits, equity, and rewards practices, including experience in
rewards integration for acquisitions and outsourcing initiatives.
·
Strong understanding of Chinese
labor laws, regulations, and market trends (e.g., social insurance, housing
provident fund, local benefits norms).
·
Proficiency in Excel,
PowerPoint, and Oracle HRMS.
·
Experience using BI tools
(e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
·
Knowledge of data privacy
frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., PIPL, GDPR, California Consumer
Privacy Act).
·
Outstanding communication,
presentation, and project management skills; ability to balance global
consistency and local adaptability.
·
Fluency in both written and
spoken English and Mandarin.
