崗位職責
We are looking for a highly skilled Language Quality Manager to lead a diverse and talented team of language specialists working across multiple regions and languages. This role requires a native level of Chinese and English, as well as extensive experience managing teams of linguists with expertise in various language pairs. The Manager will oversee the performance and quality of Keeta's multilingual products, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership background, the ability to foster cross-cultural team dynamics, and a passion for delivering high-quality localization.
1. Team Leadership & People Management:
-Lead and manage a team of language specialists working across a variety of language pairs (e.g., Chinese to English, English into Arabic, English into Portuguese, etc.).
-Manage a geographically distributed and culturally diverse team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across different time zones and regions.
-Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members to drive their professional growth and ensure consistent quality.
-Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new language specialists, ensuring alignment with team goals and standards.
-Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, navigating cultural differences to maintain team cohesion and effectiveness.
2. Language Quality Management:
-Ensure the delivery of high-quality translations across all language pairs, with a focus on both linguistic accuracy and cultural adaptation.
-Oversee the implementation of language-specific quality assurance processes, reviewing vendor's translations and providing urgent translations internally.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Localization project management, Product management, local Ops, marketing, PR) to to delivery high user language experience for Keeta apps local users.
3.Language Assets Management: Manage team to develop and maintain a robust terminology database, style guides, and translation memories to ensure linguistic consistency, enhance translation quality, and streamline workflows.
4.Establish quality benchmarks for product copy, conducting ongoing linguistic research to refine key vocabulary and ensure alignment with local market expectations.
5.Champion the user experience by working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user feedback, ensuring that the app’s language experience remains natural, engaging, and user-friendly.
崗位基本需求
1. Native level of Chinese and English
2. Degree in language or localization-related fields, with strong professional language skills.
3. 5+ years experience in localization industry, preferably in language specialist roles.
4. Experience with managing multilingual teams, balancing multiple priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex workflows across regions and languages.
6.Proficiency in cross-cultural communication and sensitivity to the nuances of different languages and cultures.
