As a S&T Customer Support Chemist, Expert, you will perform independently or as part of a team to develop, launch the product according to customer's requirement, manage trouble shotting, product modification to support our COEX business growth in China especially for Coil Steel team. You will have a working knowledge of the SBU's business, the SBU's competitors and internal PPG functions that influence the SBU's success. You will report to S&T Customer Support Senior Manager. Your working location will be in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, China.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new products according to market demand and support the new products successful launch in market
Product trouble shooting, respond promptly to customer needs and provide modification accordingly
Responsible for the experimental result analysis and issue the report with conclusion
Familiar with market trends, customer demands, and product features of industry coating
Communicates within the work team and provides clear and concise documentation of technical results
EHS consciousness and maintain laboratory tidy
Qualifications
5+ years of working experience of in formula modification or development
Strong teamwork and ownership
Good at communication, creative thinking, good logical thinking, good presentation skills
Fluent in English
