Key Responsibilities
· Develop and optimize algorithms for intelligent image and video cropping, shot detection, video editing and video understanding.
· Implement and refine object detection algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of image and video processing.
· Conduct image saliency analysis to identify and highlight key features in images and videos.
· Develop and integrate lens cut detection algorithms to automatically segment and analyze video content.
· Utilize libraries such as OpenCV and FFmpeg for advanced image and video processing tasks.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into our product offerings.
· Ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of image and video processing pipelines using CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins.
· Work with public cloud platforms (AWS, Alibaba Cloud) to manage and scale image and video processing infrastructure.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus.
· Proven experience (3+ years) in computer vision, with a strong focus on image and video processing.
· Hands-on experience with image and video processing libraries such as OpenCV and FFmpeg.
· Proficiency in object detection algorithms, including but not limited to YOLO, SSD, and Faster R-CNN.
· Experience with image saliency analysis and lens cut detection algorithms.
· Strong background in cloud computing, especially with AWS and/or Alibaba Cloud.
· Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
