Job Purpose：
Ensure technical correctness of execution being carried out. Ensure preparedness before actual execution, quality procedures, HSE compliance etc. Ensure compliance of the Contractor(s) with the contract term and conditions and administration of the contract agreement.
Key Accountabilities：
1.To perform all duties related to instrumentation/electrical trouble shooting loop/function test Commissioning activities DCS/ESD control system & Punch list clearing activities.
2. Overall sequence, planning, coordination for project as an area leader with project licensor, engineering division, EPC, MoU contractors, Vendors, suppliers, etc for speedy and easy completion of project. Installation, Pre-commissioning & commissioning of various type of process field instruments, & non-process instruments.
3. Developing Instrument work schedule and maintain baselines; monitoring & controlling projects with respect to time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects.
4. Liaising with engineering, procurement, planning, QA/QC & contractors.
5. Coordinating for preparation of instrumentation activities of complete package, commissioning dossiers & handing over. Liaising with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors & external agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals and obtaining statutory clearances.
6. Responsible for identify & sorting out interface issues related to Instrumentation Interfaces among EPC Contractor /PMC along with the interface manager.
7. Knowledge of DCS, ESD & F&G system, control panels, marshaling panels, MCMS panels and commissioning of control room etc. Knowledge of Integration of the DCS / ESD/ FGS/ CCTV/ PA system/ ACS
8. Knowledge of process impulse pipe/tube as per standard hoop-up drawing and different type of pipe class.
9. Review and approve Contractor-produced instrument data sheets for purchase specifications for flow, pressure, temperature and level instruments; process analyzers including gas chromatographs, moisture analyzers, oxygen analyzers, etc.; control valves, actuated on-off valves, ESD valves, pressure safety valves; tank gauging systems; HIPPS system; Fire and Gas detectors; bulk materials including cables, junction boxes, terminations, cable trays, Loop Diagram , Ultrasonic Meter, Product and Feed loading/unloading system, vibration Monitoring system.
10. Knowledge of CCTV, PA System, Access Control, Terminal Automation System, Fire Alarm Panel , Leak detection system.
11. Participate for HAZOP, SIL, P&ID Review workshops, 3D Modelling, FERA, F& G Mapping, Project Review workshops.
12. Carry out the FAT of the DCS/ SCADA, PLC of the various packages.
13. Sound knowledge of Analytical Instrumentation and Metering with systems from ABB, Yokogawa, Honeywell, Emerson, etc.
14. Experience in handling Security, IT, Telecom, PA-GA systems and its integrations with the Control room, P&IDs, SRS, SIL, HAZOP, HIPPS, LOPA, etc.
15. Experience of applicable Indian and International codes and standards like API, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
B.Tech ( Instrumentation)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10-15 years
