TARIFFCUSTOMS關(guān)稅海關(guān)合規(guī)
This position is responsible for driving trade and customs regulatory compliance across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations and supporting strategic trade initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in customs regulations and international trade.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Lead Customs Audit Defense Strategy.
? Develop and implement robust defense plans for customs audits, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation and explanations to minimize penalties and operational risks.
? Coordinate with government agencies and internal teams to address audit-related issues and establish best practices for enhanced defense capability.
2. Develop and Implement Comprehensive Compliance Frameworks, and ensure adherence to local and international customs regulations and continuously optimize internal policies and procedures.
3. Proactively monitor changes in trade regulations and customs laws across China and Asia Pacific, adjusting internal policies and procedures to maintain continuous compliance and mitigate risks.
4. Identify and Address Customs Declaration/Clearance Risks, including tariff misclassification and inaccurate documentation, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
5. Collaborate Across Functions, work closely with global supply chain, legal, finance, procurement, and import/export teams to align compliance requirements and documentation.
Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, International Trade, or related field; legal qualification preferred.
2. Minimum [8+ years] of experience in trade compliance, customs regulations, or international trade, preferably in a multinational corporation.
3. In-depth knowledge of customs laws, import/export policies, and trade agreements in China and the Asia Pacific region.
4. Proven experience in handling customs audits, advance rulings on tariff classification and country of origin.
5. Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement with global teams.
