Objectives:
? Lead the definition, implementation, and lifecycle management of the RTM (Real Time Monitoring) function on the T-Box platform and potential new regulatory functions. Ensure that RTM features—including diagnostics, data collection and warning management —are robust, secure, and compliant with all relevant Chinese regulations. Oversee the integration of RTM with adjacent vehicle systems and ensure all technical requirements are met.
Task description:
? Define and maintain the RTM functional requirements, RTM TCU architecture and technical roadmap for T-Box systems
? Lead RTM feature development: signal definition, signal input/output, signal transformation rule, data transmission, warning management, diagnostics, variant coding, etc.
? Ensure RTM compliance with all relevant regulations (RTM standard, cybersecurity, data privacy, functional safety if applicable and homologation requirements).
? Collaborate with industry partners, regulatory bodies, and related teams for regulation required functions.
? Guide suppliers, partners, and internal teams on RTM technical solutions, issue resolution, and best practices
Qualification:
? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
? 5+ years in T-Box, telematics, or remote diagnostics; 3+ years as system/solution architect or technical lead for RTM or similar functions.
? Proven track record of RTM or T-Box function delivery in China; experience with global projects is a plus.
? Deep knowledge of RTM technical implementation, vehicle communication protocols, OTA, cybersecurity, diagnostics, and regulatory/homologation.
? Fluent in English and Mandarin; strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills.
? In-depth understanding of RTM-related standards GB/T32960 and its revisions
? Good knowledge with vehicle networks (CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS), telematics protocols (LTE/5G, TCP/IP, MQTT/HTTP/2), and OTA (FOTA/SOTA) concepts.
? Familiarity with cybersecurity (secure boot, key management, ISO/SAE 21434), functional safety (ISO 26262), and regulatory/homologation requirements (China and global, including Data Security Law, GDPR, etc.).
? Experience with OBD, diagnostics, data transmission, data analysis and regulation-driven functional development.
