Responsibility:
Receive initial customer data packs, including raw BOMs (typically in Excel format), drawings, and specification documents. Conduct an initial check for completeness and consistency, identifying obvious formatting errors, missing information, or version discrepancies, and initiating clarification with the customer.
Confirm the original data from customers, including the Bom list , schematic drawings, and mechanical drawings .
Component Identification: Accurately interpret component descriptions, manufacturer part numbers (MPNs), and key specifications (e.g., value, tolerance, package for resistors; model, package, temp range for ICs).
Splitting & Categorization: Systematically categorize each BOM line item into major groups: electronic components (ICs, R/L/C, connectors), mechanical parts (custom plastic housings, metal brackets, heat sinks), and accessories/supplies (adhesives, labels, screws).
Prepare clear and comprehensive Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages for each part requiring pricing, including all necessary technical data (specs, drawings, annual usage).
Act as a technical communication bridge between internal teams and the customer. Formally raise Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify ambiguous, unclear, or technically risky items on the BOM to ensure the quote is based on accurate data.
Build the company's internal quotation Bom list and upload it to the system timely and accurately based on customer drawing
Assist sourcing departments to confirm components, drawings and customer issues.
Requirements:
Degree: Bachelor/ Basic English oral communication skills, proficient English writing skills
Good character and strong sense of responsibility in work
Familiar with engineering quotation, including PCB board, integrated and cable connectors, terminals and process flow, drawings and complete BOM list according to drawings;
Familiar with all kinds of PCBA board components, sheet metal and other mechanical structural parts and some basic components of cables
Proficient in office software, good at excel skills and able to quickly build the BOM.
Good interpersonal relationship with a positive and responsible attitude.
3 years or more of relevant work experience.
