Job Description
1. Clinical leadership
- Supporting the development and maintenance of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based clinical practice;
- Offering consultation and clinical decision support for complex or high-risk cases - Working with parents and staff when necessary.
2. Crisis intervention
- Assisting counsellors with risk assessment, safety planning, and referral decisions;
- Supporting crisis response processes and post-incident debriefing when required.
3. Policy and training development
- Contributing to the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines; - Assisting in the design and delivery of internal training, case discussions, and professional development activities.
4. Ongoing support for team members
- Provide case supervision for 20 hours and other services for 20 hours per month (8 months in total per year);
- Provides consistent, accessible professional support to enhance team wellbeing and service sustainability.
Job Requirements
1. Holding a doctor degree in Counselling/Psychology program (exceptionally outstanding candidates with a master's degree in Counselling/Psychology are also eligible).
2. A minimum of 8 years of clinical practical experience, including at least 5 years of supervision experience.
3. Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention.
4. Licensed counseling supervisor is preferred.
5. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
6. Availability to work at least 1-2 days per week (fixed schedule preferred) with a one-year contract period.
